Work Health and Safety Policy
Castle Civil is committed to prioritising the health, safety, and well-being of its workers and all other persons that its operations may affect.
Castle Civil and this policy demonstrate compliance with ISO 45001, meeting the requirements of WHS management standards.
Castle Civil will:
- Provide a safe working environment for all its workers and stakeholders.
- Comply with all applicable WHS regulations.
- Identify workplace hazards, assess the risk, and implement controls to remove hazards and minimise risk.
- Investigate all incidents, injuries, and near misses to determine the root cause and contributing factors. Implement measures to prevent reoccurrence.
- Provide training and supervision to ensure employees and contractors know their responsibilities and possess the knowledge and skills to perform their work safely.
- Set targets to improve the WHS management system, providing a safe working environment for all.
- Review WHS objectives continually to improve its WHS management system.
- Communicate this policy to all workers, visitors, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure regular WHS inspections and audits to assess the effectiveness of the WHS management system.
This policy will be reviewed annually to ensure its suitability and effectiveness. Feedback from workers and stakeholders will be considered. The policy will be revised to reflect changing circumstances and ISO 45001 requirements.
